To help you understand and visualize the differences in stains and woods for hardwood flooring and wide plank flooring, we've put together a sampling of varieties and stains. Note that typically stains will cover up and blend natural knots and burls in hardwood floors whereas clear finishes bring out these qualities making them more pronounced.

Due to the various color settings and display qualities of individual computers, these hardwood flooring samples will vary from our actual hardwood flooring. And similar to these images, no two pieces of wood are exactly alike. This is one of the characteristics of real wood that gives it its beauty and warmth.

Please note that "clear" denotes a clear finish on unstained wood.
Due to the quality of these sample pictures, there will be an increase in load time.
